The Mounting Brackets
- Bracket width - 2cm

- The Bracket at the bottom has to be mounted at least 22cm up from the ground, this will allow the Cat-G8 to rest on the floor. (Note: Brackets can be mounted higher to elevate the gate if you wish).

Based on customer feedback and our own testing, no cat has yet jumped over the Full Height Cat-G8.
There are three heights available for your space; 138cm, 176cm, or 208cm. Simply select a size most compatible to your needs.
Every cat is different, so we recommend undertaking your own risk assessment to determine if the Cat-G8 is right for you and your Cat.
The gaps between each panel are just 5cm (1.96 inches) wide. Based on our trials and customer feedback, no cat has successfully squeezed through the gate. However, every cat is unique, so if you have concerns about squeezing, we recommend conducting a personal risk assessment to ensure suitability for your pet.
Installing the Cat-G8 Full Height is straightforward and adaptable to different set ups:
The gate comes with eight brackets. You mount four to one side of the opening, and four to the other side of the opening. The hooks to the gate dictate where the brackets go.
Once the brackets are installed, you mount the gate into the brackets.
- For uPVC, composite, metal, glass surfaces, we provide high-grade adhesive tape, eliminating the need for drilling or screwing the brackets into your area.
- For wooden, plaster board, brick we include Timco self-tapping screws for a secure installation.
